Prestige Water from Air

An Atmospheric Water Generator (AWG) is a device that extracts water suspended in humid ambient air.

The most common method of extracting this moisture employs technology similar to an air conditioner. Warm air passes over a set of coils that are chilled using a refrigerant. Because cool air can’t hold as much water vapor as warm air, the cold air leaves behind condensation that’s routed away from the condensor.

In a water generator, the goal is to reclaim that condensed water vapor, filter it, and then store it in a holding tank or send it to where it can be used. The reclaimed water is filtered a number of times to take out airborne particles and bacteria as part of the process.

The Atmospheric Water Generator (AWG) is an instrument very similar to the standard domestic refrigerator.
